The left hand pannier with clothes, first aid kit, toiletries etc (and yes I confess net-book computer and small bagpipes) weighs in at 6kg.
The right hand pannier with camping, sleeping and cooking gear weighs in at an equal 6kg.
The handle bar bag weghs of iPhone / GPS and other bits and peices another 1kg.
All up the baggage plus water plus food would be be about 15kg - about the same as the backpack I carried on my last bushwalk into Kosiusko Natiaonal Park.
